Check with the hotel for any remaining rooms at  $119.00 per night. (This is an outstanding rate at a luxury hotel in the heart of  Washington, DC)


If driving, cost of parking is $22.50 per night (normal rate about double that).  The hotel has no way of showing this on your reservation but we have been assured by the General Manager that the rate of $22.50 will apply upon your arrival.  Beware, the hotel does not provide shuttle service to or from the airport.

Program notes so far:  

Friday May 8th -  Sunday, May 10th:    Registration and “Meet and Greet  Hospitality Suite”

Saturday, May 9th:   221stSignal Reunion Banquet Dinner with some special audio visual presentations plus Missing Man Ceremony

Friday May 8th , 9th or 10th (OPT):      Short, low cost (less than $2.00) trip to Vietnam Veterans Memorial.

Saturday, May 8th, 2:30 PM (OPT):  Special Program Featuring a 221st Panel Discussion at the Newseum.  It will be open to the public and led by a Newseum moderator.  

Friday, May 8th & Saturday, May 9th Afternoon (OPT):  Veterans Administration Representative available to answer questions related to VA Benefits.
 

The hotel is just blocks from The White HouseLincoln MemorialWashington MonumentSmithsonian Museums, the National Gallery of Art, and many other DC landmarks.


Naturally we will work with the hotel to fill all requests at the special $119 rate but at some point the hotel may be full up.  No new reservations were promised by the hotel after April 17, 2015.  Check with the hotel for reservations made after this date regards the special room rate.  This is out of our control.  


There is a $100 per person fee to register for the reunion regardless of where you stay.  There is no requirement to stay at the Crowne Plaza.  The $100 fee will cover the luncheon and dinner on Saturday as well as all shared expenses like “audio visual” and other fees for meeting rooms, hospitality suite, coffee breaks and planned events. All registration proceeds will be applied to event expenses.  Each person registered by March 1, 2015 will receive a personalized 221st name badge. Cancellations with a full refund of the registration fee will be possible up to March 1, 2015. After that, registration refunds will be limited to $70.00 until April 17, 2015 after which any cancellations will be handled on a case-by-case basis.

The only way to register is by mail.

 the years you were in the 221st (like 1968-69) or relationship to the 221st, and the name and relationship of your guest (if any).
