Super Sonic Ass Kicker Parties

“My parties were THE ONES TO ATTEND! The SSAK (Super Sonic Ass Kicker) was basically a very potent Vodka or Tom Collins, mixed in a 3 1/2 gallon plastic jug. I used a full case (24 cans) of 7-up, a bunch of fresh squeezed lemon juice, a few cups of sugar, and 4 imperial quarts of Vodka or Gin.

As I recall, the 7-up was $2.40, the booze was a buck or so per bottle, and I had lemons sent from home. I think at the party pictured, we went through 4 batches, or 15 gallons!

I made snacky things, got chips, dips, etc., and passed a coffee can for donations. Beat going to the club, and I ALWAYS seemed to make a bunch of money on the deal, especially after the second or third batch!!”

I never had any of the famous SSAK. It was after my time – but I remember our Bloody Marys that someone (not me) would make on a Sunday morning in Long Binh.  One to two gallons of vodka and 6 oz of tomato juice for color.  Sometimes we had celery sticks with it for flare. - Paul
