As part of the 221st Reunion in Washington D.C. In May 2015,  there was an event at the Newseum in which four 221st Veterans participated in a panel discussion for the Newseum’s “Inside Media” presentations.  The event was hosted by John Maynard of the Newseum staff.   

The Newseum is an independent, non-profit, interactive museum dedicated to media news of yesterday and today and our first amendment rights.  It is nice to know that the mission and men of the 221st Signal are considered worthy to take their place among their civilian counterparts who covered the Vietnam war.  The event was well attended by our own Veterans assembled for the Reunion as well as members of the general public.   

The event ran about an hour.  The video has been edited to about nine minutes.
